BWS North Shore Project
The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is working on a vital water main replacement project along Kamehameha Highway to replace an aging 8-inch water main between Pupukea Road and Kahae Road. The main being replaced was originally installed in 1959. In some areas, the main will be upgraded to a 16-inch main to increase system capacity for North Shore residents. The purpose of this project is to ensure continued access to a safe and dependable water supply for the North Shore community now and into the future. We understand that Kamehameha Highway is the sole artery for the North Shore community, so we have created this web page to provide project and traffic updates. Additionally, you can call 748-5350 to get voice recordings with project information. If you have further questions about this construction project, please call the BWS construction section at 748-5730. We appreciate the community's patience and understanding as we work on this critical water system improvement project. PROJECT AND TRAFFIC UPDATES Please be advised of the following modifications and lane closures, observe all construction traffic signs, traffic signals, expect delays, and drive with caution. Kamehameha Highway WSI Part IV, Sunset Beach (Pupukea Road to Kahae Road)
