CONSERVATION TIP
To find out if you have low-flow fixtures, check the amount of water flowing from each faucet. You can do this by opening the faucet and allowing the water to flow into a container for 10 seconds. Multiply the amount of water in the container by six to determine the per minute flow. If your existing faucet flows above 2.5 gallons per minute, install a low-flow faucet.

Special Programs and Rebates

Stewardship of our natural resources is not just a practice of ancient times; water management continues today, in many forms, and with many individuals and organizations island-wide making contributions.  Conserving water at all levels -- in individual households, businesses, and in government agencies -- is vital if we are going to maintain water as a sustainable resource.

From individual households to multiple-use properties, our message to all consumers:
Use what you need, but do not waste.

If you would like more information, are interested in getting involved or organizing a program, or have any feedback, please contact our Communications Office at
